Having Canon G11 Memory Card Error ?
6 Months ago I have purchased a Canon G11 which has lots of features. My favorite features were motion detection technology, intelligent contrast correction and 10 mega pixels lens that allows 5X optical zoom. I have saved all my images over my computer that runs on Windows 7. Yesterday while going for the shoot of wildlife photographs, I was in jungle and accidentally the camera felt down on the ground. At that time it was on and due to the strike over it, it turned off and some scratches occurred over its body. When I came back to home and tried to turn on and access my photos, it was giving error message “Memory Card Error”. I was very depressed due to that and therefore looking to get my pictures back. Tell me how can I get photos back. Thanks.
Hello Mate, You have chosen Canon Powershot G11 which is a true photographers camera. It is compatible with 5 different kinds of memory cards including SD (Secure Digital), SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity), MMC (Multi Media Cards), MMCplus and HC MMCplus. These card capacities are up to 8GB that gives the capacity to store up to 3000 photographs.
You have not mentioned that which memory card you are using. Anyways as I read your situation, it looks like the Canon Powershot G11 memory card is corrupted and this will cause you the Memory Card Error. As you stated that you were out of home and it means that you have not taken the backup of the memory card before accident. Now to solve this error message you require Canon Photo Recovery which is a digital photo recovery utility made to work on the Canon Digital Cameras.
The Canon Photo Recovery uses comprehensive searching techniques that will recover and repair the corrupted, inaccessible pictures from all different kinds of memory cards that are used in Canon cameras so just do the download of the Canon Photo Recovery and get the photos back in minutes.
