Canon SD450 elph error, Memory card Locked in My Canon Powershot Digital Elph ?
Last night, I was celebrating my son’s birthday party and taken over hundred of pictures on my canon SD450 Elph that already have over 600 photos. In the middle of the party the memory was full and I replaced the memory card with another blank memory card and taken further pictures. Today when I again inserted the first memory card and tried to access it, it gave me Canon SD450 Elph error that says “Memory card Locked”. I was unable to see any pictures present over the memory card. Please tell me how can I get rid of this problem and recover my photos again.
Canon Powershot SD450 Digital Elph is a great digital camera that is loaded with 5.0 mega pixels CCD image sensor and can use different memory cards like Secure Digital (SD) or Multi Media card (MMC) memory card. The problem mentioned in your question is not new and the “ memory card locked ” error message is occur due to the corruption in SD/MMC card.
To solve this problem the simplest way is to format the memory card. But there is a thing that you should understand that all the content present over the media will be deleted and this will be the biggest shock for you if you have not made the backup of the memory card earlier. As per your situation it does not looks that you had enough time to do the backup. Now if you format the media, the pictures will be lost and so there is only one way that can help and take you out from this situation and it is named as Canon Photo Recovery.
